Our primary purpose is campaigning to change perceptions of disability and achieve greater equality for disabled people in the North East. We also do this by offering specialist training and consultancy services.
Disability Training
Our training will improve the accessibility of your services by building your knowledge and understanding of the barriers that prevent disabled people from accessing your services.
You will learn concrete measures and develop an understanding of where investment can be made to encourage disabled customers and employees at your organisation. Training topics include such things as disability equality, awareness & etiquette, neurodiversity & divergence, digital accessibility, inclusive HR practices and many more.
Consultancy
We can help you with more specific tasks if you have an area of interest which needs attention.
We have helped organisations with consultancy services such as access reviews of their digital and non digital services, access coaching, where we can spend time with your organisation to observe working practices & training frontline staff in disability-friendly customer care.
