Disability Equality, Awareness & Etiquette

This training provides a solid introduction to all issues related to disability. It contains sections on models of disability, perceptions and portrayals of disability, common barriers experienced by disabled people and how they can be removed, and disability etiquette, advice for interactions between non disabled and disabled people

Disability Inclusion At Work

This training looks at disability at work and the experiences of disabled employees. It looks at reasonable adjustments and provides advice and guidance for line managers. It also looks at inclusive recruitment practices and provides techniques and methods to improve your access and inclusion in the workplace.

Inclusive Online Meetings & Events

This looks at how to run accessible online meetings and events, such as webinars and conferences. We cover things like closed captioning, British Sign Language, screen recording and access guides. The techniques and methods that you learn here Will improve accessibility and inclusion of your online communications and meetings.

Neurodiversity & Neurodivergence

This provides an introduction to neurodiversity and focuses on neuro divergence and neuro minorities. The training looks at sensory profiles, behavioural responses and reasonable adjustments. The training looks at neuro divergence through the lenses of the medical and social model and also introduces the neuro diversity paradigm, a fresh and rights based way to understand neuro minorities in our society.

Digital Accessibility

This training starts by looking at how disabled people use digital information and looks at the reasons why digital content can be inaccessible to many disabled people. It provides a framework to help you make sure that your media and web content is made inclusive and accessible to all. This session provides hands on techniques for you to improve access and is suitable for anyone who is involved with producing text that will be read by others
