Why We Need Allies

We need allies from the non disabled world to help those fight for disability rights. Just as Martin Luther King believed that emancipation would only come with the participation of white allies in their struggle, we believe non disabled people hold the key.

We want our network to show that changes can be made by organisations of all shapes and sizes. We will use the network to promote good practice and change on matters of disability, equality, and inclusion and we will respond to any of your queries about disability.

So, if you want to make changes, challenge ableism and broaden representations of disability in your work, join our allies network.
