Test your own digital resources with our accessibility checklist

We have designed eight questions that we will use to assess the accessibility level of your digital resources. The questions incorporate the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 which is the industry standard for assessing the accessibility of digital resources. The questions cover all four POUR principles of Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust. Some questions cover more than one principle, for example, question three covers perceivable and operable, and question six covers understandable and robust. Our questions are designed to provide a measure of the general accessibility of the webpages and online forms. In order to precisely measure the level of WCAG compliance, there are more detailed assessment protocols, which use all of the headings on WCAG 2.2 (see appendix one) which enable calculations to be made on the level of compliance (A, AA and AAA).
