Dismissed due to “medical incapability”

I was dismissed from my job, four months post surgery for my long term condition. The main reason being I couldn’t give a definite return to work date as I wasn’t able to get medical support due to post pandemic waiting lists. My condition deteriorated post surgery and I need specialist support and products to help me maintain independence and employment. In short: I was medically dismissed because I was unwell and on waiting lists I had no control over.
