Difference

Our parting image shows a picture of two scenarios, three individuals watching a football game, one wheelchair user, one person restricted height and one non-disabled person standing up: picture one, shows only the non disabled person being able to watch the game because only they can see over the railings; picture two shows all three being able to see the game with a change to the viewing surface, on a slope as opposed to on the flat, so everybody can see and nobody is disadvantaged.

We are loving this … enhancetheuk.org/

Treating people equally does not deliver equality. It disadvantages people because of their difference. We want to promote a society that recognises and values difference, and actively seeks to remove the barriers that stop disabled people being treated equally, with fairness, justice and respect.
