Why Join Us?

We want members because more voices equals louder voices and disabled people are stronger together. We want to represent disabled people across the North East and we want to share our news with you; this is why we want members.

We also think that fighting for your rights with other disabled people can help change your life, if you think you’re alone in your struggles in an ableist and discriminatory world, you are not, so come and help us change the world and make a Difference.

What You Get

Email Newsletter

Quarterly news updates on disability rights activities going on in your area, what we have been up to, and how to get involved.

Disability Training

Free training on subjects like disability rights, neurodivergence, the social model of disability: developing your knowledge, making you more effective influencer, including new training subjects to review and test

Campaign Participation

Contribute to our campaigns & get your voice heard on subjects ranging from accessing services to domestic abuse via focus groups and workshops. Lobbying local, regional & national politicians on specific topics which disable our people

Events

Come to our activities & events & meet your comrades. Volunteer with us, helping with our research & development for our campaigns.
