THE BREAKING POINT.\nToday\, Difference North East resigned from the government’s North East Regional Stakeholder Network (NE-RSN). We are not alone. Robert Punto (West Midlands RSN) resigned\, stating he’d “never known any government with such little regard for disabled people.” \nThe NE-RSN promised to “champion our rights.” Instead: \n\n✖️ Zero replies to our evidence\n✖️ Zero consultation on welfare reforms\n✖️ Zero in-person consultations in the North East\n\nWe were tokens. Decoration. Ignored. \nWHY “BUILD OUR OWN TABLE”?\nThe government designed the RSN for non-disabled agendas. It is: \n\n❌ Inaccessible\n❌ Unprofessional\n\nWe refuse to beg for scraps. \n \n\n\n🔨\nMade BY US\nOnly d/Deaf\, Disabled\, Neurodivergent people & DDPOs \n\n\n🔨\nOwned BY US\nAgendas set by members.
